# Upgrading Skills

Each Gangstabet NFT has levels from 1 to 10. The levels are categorized based on the sum of 5 skills which differs from Gangsters and Detectives. The owners can level up their GangstaBet NFTs by increasing their stats in each skill which requires them to burn $GBET. The $GBET per skill point upgrade is defined by the current level of the NFT. As you level up, it becomes more difficult to upgrade your GangstaBets, as the $GBET required to increase the skill point rises substantially. 

These skill changes will directly effect the in-game stats of a GangstaBet when they are in GangWars. You can read more about that here.
